Members of the of the National Association of Political Correspondents, (NAPOC) have congratulated their colleague, Alhaji Babatunde Rahman on his appointment as Senior Special Assistant (Media) To President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The congratulatory message was contained in a letter dated July 11, 2023 sent to the new Special Assistant (Media).

It was signed by Chairman, NAPOC Coordinating Committee, Deba Uwadiae, Vice Chairman, Hajia Hauwa Maina Maaji and Secretary, AdebayoAbdul-Jelil.

The group said the appointment of Rahman as Senior Special Assistant was a"well-deserved appointment".

The congratulatory letter stated: "Members of the National Association of Political Correspondents, NAPOC, wish to congratulate Alhaji Babatunde Rahman on your well-deserved appointment as the Senior Special Assistant (Media) to the 16th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"As a member of the National Association of Political Correspondents, we are proud of this appointment and have no doubt of your continued devotion and loyalty to serve and work conscientiously with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in delivering expected services to the people of Nigeria. 

"We wish you all the support and the best in your new and national assignment", the letter stated.
