Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, has handed himself over to the Police in the early hours of Monday.
Seun arrived the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, accompanied by his lawyer and family representatives.
He was dressed in a T-shirt over a blue jeans trouser. He has since been placed under arrest.
Though handcuffed backwards, Seun Kuti looked calm when he was seen on Monday being led upstairs to the office of the Police Commissioner, Idowu Owohunwa.
Seun is likely to be charged before a magistrate court soon.
The Command Spokesperson, SP. Benjamin Hundeyin stated in a statement on Monday that the Command appreciates the public for their concern and assures that the ongoing investigation will be detailed, transparent and professionally pursued.
He said justice will be served for all parties involved.
