The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara is comfortably leading other political parties in the results so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday.
INEC has announced the results from 13 local government areas in the Saturday's Governorship and Assembly elections.
The results of the remaining three local government of Baruten, Ilorin West, and Edu local government were being awaited.
The collation of the results for the sixteen local government areas of Kwara was being coordinated by the Vice Chancellor University of Maiduguri Prof Issac Itodo at the INEC Collation Centre in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The 12 local government results collated were Isin, Ilorin South, Asa, Irepodun, Moro, Pategi, Oyun, Ilorin East, Ifelodun, Oke-Ero, Ekiti, Offa and Kiama local government areas.
In Isin APC led other parties by polling 5274, PDP 3400, and SDP polled 567, SPC also led in Ilorin South with 20,148, PDP scored 12,096, while SDP polled 2,357.
In Pategi local government, APC scored 13,813, PDP polled 6544, and SDP got 389 votes, while in Oyun local government APC polled 8,991 to defeat
PDP that scored 5,465, while SDP polled 1,068.
APC also led In Ilorin East with 23,925 14,500 votes PDP polled and SDP 2,645.
In Asa local government, APC polled 14,946, PDP scored 11,183, and SDP polled 953.
The trend was the same in Irepodun local government where APC scored 12,860 to defeat PDP that got 7,615 while SDP polled 1,693.; while in Moro, APC scored 15,161, PDP polled 6832, and SDP scored 1,992.
APC defeated PDP In Ifelodun local government area by polling 17,599, while PDP polled 9,085 and SDP scored 1,559.
In Oke Ero local government, APC score7,758, PDP polled 3,768 and SDP scored 149 while in Ekiti local government, APC scored 6,836, to defeat PDP that polled 4,273 and SDP.
In Offa local government area of Kwara state APC garnered 14, 696 votes 5o defeat PDP that polled 6,705 while SDP scored 1,289.
APC maintained the lead in Kiama local government with 14,431 to 6, 297 votes PDP scored while SDP came third with 624 votes.
